Solace is a digital networking system designed with the needs and perspective of first responders during disaster situations.
The goal of this project was to use modern technology creatively to create a positive impact on the world. Within a team of four, I helped to make a communication system comprised of 4 devices and 3 digital interfaces. The devices we created were a foldable touchscreen for on-site rescue workers, a heart monitor wearable for victims, a mobile attachment for C.E.R.T. members, and a projected interactive wall for command center.
I, as the graphic designer, was charged with developing the whole networking system through wireframes, and designing the visual interface screens from top to bottom, including the logo, icons and widgets. This project was featured in the Art Center Student Gallery Fall 2014.
